My choice is actually a favourite car of my fathers. The Dodge Charger SRT-8. He isn't much of a Dodge fan, (more of a Mustang guy) but he is all over the Dodge Charger. For all fathers out there, I don't think there is a better car. The styling is thoroughly bad ass inside out. You just can't stop looking at the angry headlights, the huge aggresive wheels, and to finish it off the Racetrack taillights. Inside, you can have saddle or red leather, which every father out there will appreciate. As a whole, it has an attitude that fathers will adore. From the excitement seeing it, to the thrill of turning it on, to the shivers you get revving the monstrous V8.

And, to back all those looks, the SRT will give you a magnificent slab of muscle with its 6.4 Litre Hemi, translated into 470 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Brembo red painted brake calipers, flat bottomed steering wheel, humongous bucket seats, performance redouts on the 8.4 inch screen will wrap it up nicely. All of this performance, all of the character, all of the mean looks, all of the space for the family/stuff, all of the memories of old muscle cars, and all of the sensation of being an undercover cop is exactly why fathers will agree with this being a perfect car for them.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

So tell me Opponauts/Jalops, what is the best car for fathers out there?

My father also loves the Panamera. He is one of the few people who consider it great looking.

Thats a good choice, but I think that it is a little sober for a father to like. Still, for a discrete car, its fantastic.

Then there are the Porsche "enthusiast" who say...."I wouldn't call it a Porsche even if there was a fire!!!"

If I won the lotto I'd go all silly and buy my pops his dream home on wheels. He wants a big class A motorhome to drive around in. But for just a car I think my dad would enjoy having a SRT 8 300, but I'd put it on air springs to help save his back from a harsh ride. After all he has been a Mopar man for as long as I've known him, but he gets my mom all the weird cars like a Peugot diesel station wagon with vinyl seats back in the 80's. . .

But really I want to find his old 2002 he had if it is still on the road. If it isn't I'd find him a 2002tii and call it a day. Maybe it would give him a reason to eat healthier and lose weight so he could fit in it comfortably.

Thats is an awesome car history. I also would like in the future to buy my father his dream car. It would be amazing to find that 2002, and I think your father would be thanked for life.

Hmmm, it is tempting to put a Raptor F-150.

Audi is also a great choice if your father is more suit and tie than jersey and cap.

It's funny his eyes light up when ever he sees a 2002 on the road and if he sees one parked he has to gawk at it for a bit. If the owner is around he has to say something to them. I think he really regrets selling it. That was the last really fun car he owned as far as I know. He ended up with company cars in the 80's and had a Caravan for a long time then he had 2 Intrepids and then a Durango and now a Pacifica. See what I mean by a Mopar man? Those are just the ones he's had since I've been alive. In his 20's he had a 69 Charger.

While he'd really like a new red Corvette Z06 he probably would get a STi (for speed/looks) or CTS-V wagon (for luxury/ultimate practicality) so he can fulfill fatherly transport roles. Actually thinking about it... he'd probably like the Raptor too...

My dad used to be a Chevy guy as well. He bought like 8 Silverados until he disliked the 90s version and he decided to buy a Tacoma. He says for now its the best truck he has ever owned. I also thought of including the SS

My father also has to fulfill transport roles. He just likes having that extra practicality whenever its needed. My father barely knows about the STi.

Haha it wasnt a 90s sorry, it was early 2000 with a more round look. It has the least smooth cloth seats, and the interior broke to pieces. The 90s and 80s he liked a lot

Haha it was just like this one. Though the wheels were steel instead of chrome, and it was a dark grey color that never looked nice.

Kinja'd!!!

I respect your favourite choice, as we had a white Suburban of the same generation with the dual rear doors! That thing performed its duty admirably
